Carrier integrations
Data providers and carrier APIs powering the tracking feed.

Tracking quality depends on upstream feeds. The platform supports a mix of carrier-direct APIs, data providers, and scraping fallbacks.
Air
- CargoAi — aggregated multi-carrier tracking via Cargo iQ.
- IATA ONE Record (where supported) — real-time standardised events.
- Carrier-direct — for major carriers (EK, QR, LH, SQ, AF, KL) if your account supports API feeds.
- Airport cargo-community systems — e.g. CCS@HKG, CargoHub@LHR, depending on integration scope.
Fallback: status scraping from carrier websites (rate-limited, slower refresh, configurable per tenant).
Sea
- Project44 — multi-carrier container tracking (primary recommendation for scale).
- Terminal49 — terminal events + vessel AIS.
- Marine Traffic — vessel positions.
- Carrier-direct — Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, ONE, etc. support Track & Trace APIs.
- Port community systems — Portbase, Destin8, DAKOSY, etc.
Event mix: vessel events (ETD, ATD, ETA, ATA, discharge) + container events (gate-in, load, discharge, gate-out, last-free-day).
Road
- Driver mobile app — stop events from the driver.
- Telematics integrations — Geotab, Samsara, Webfleet, Fleetio — vehicle GPS, engine events.
- Toll-tag integrations — optional, adds toll actual events.
Customs
- Broker APIs — per country; the broker pushes status updates when entries change state.
- Government portals — where available (HMRC CDS, EU CDMS, US ACE, IN ICEGATE, SG NTP).
Setup
Per tenant, per service type, configure which providers are active. Priority order when overlapping: carrier-direct > aggregator > scraping.
See integrations for credentials + health monitoring.
Data quality
Providers differ on event granularity, latency, and coverage per carrier / lane. The platform shows source tags on events so ops can judge the freshness / authority.
Data quality dashboard: per-lane, per-mode, average events per shipment, % with complete milestone set. Helps decide where to invest in premium providers.
Costs
Each provider bills per tracked shipment or per call. The platform logs consumption and shows usage vs contract. Feed this back into tenant cost-of-goods.
