The warehousing module is a full WMS built for 3PL and forwarder-operated warehouses. Handles owner (your cargo) and customer-owned (3PL) stock with full segregation.

Core flows

  1. Receiving — goods arrive, GRN created, putaway suggested. See receiving.
  2. Putaway — goods moved to bin locations. See putaway.
  3. Storage — stock held, with rules for FIFO / FEFO / LIFO, quarantine, dangerous goods.
  4. Picking — outbound orders picked from bins. See picking.
  5. Packing + shipping — items packed, labelled, released. See packing & shipping.
  6. Cycle counts — periodic stock verification. See counts.

Multi-warehouse

Configure any number of warehouses. Each has its own bins, stock, and users. Stock can transfer between warehouses — modelled as an outbound order at source + inbound at destination. See stock movements.

Per-customer stock

In 3PL mode, each customer's inventory is strictly segregated:

  • Bins can be customer-dedicated or shared.
  • Stock ledger tracks ownership — each SKU instance belongs to a customer.
  • Invoicing is per-customer (storage + handling fees).
  • Customer portal shows only that customer's stock.

Relationship with forwarding

Warehousing plugs into forwarding via cross-dock and consolidation flows:

  • An inbound air/sea shipment can trigger a GRN.
  • An outbound road shipment can draw from warehouse stock.
  • Consolidations can be built at the warehouse (piece-pick + consolidate into master).

Mobile-first

Nearly every warehouse operation runs on a handheld scanner (or phone) — receiving, putaway, picking, counts. See warehouse mobile.
