About the role

We build logistics software for freight forwarders and fleet operators, including the telematics hardware — GPS trackers, fuel-level sensors and dashcams — that feeds live data into our platform.

We're looking for a hands-on Field IoT Technician based in the UAE to install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain these devices on customer vehicles across all seven Emirates. You'll be on the road most days, working directly with drivers and fleet managers, and making sure every device reports cleanly into the platform.

What you'll do

  • Install and wire GPS/telematics units, fuel-level sensors and related IoT hardware on trucks, trailers and light vehicles
  • Travel across the UAE (all Emirates) to customer sites, yards and workshops to fit, service and repair devices
  • Configure devices and verify they report correctly into the platform (GPS, ignition, fuel, power)
  • Diagnose and fix faults — wiring, connectivity, sensor calibration and power issues
  • Calibrate fuel sensors and validate readings against tank capacity
  • Keep accurate records of installations — serial numbers, vehicle details and service visits
  • Give basic on-site guidance to drivers and fleet staff, and coordinate rollouts with the operations and tech team

What we're looking for

  • Based in the UAE with a valid UAE driving licence and willing to travel daily across all Emirates
  • Hands-on experience installing vehicle electronics, GPS/telematics, alarms or auto-electrical work
  • Comfortable with 12V/24V vehicle wiring, fuses, crimping and reading wiring diagrams
  • Practical troubleshooting — you can find and fix a wiring or connectivity fault
  • Reliable, organised and comfortable working independently on the road
  • Basic English to communicate with drivers, fleet managers and the office; comfortable using a smartphone app to log work

Nice to have

  • Experience with fuel-level sensors / fuel-monitoring systems
  • Experience with telematics brands (Teltonika, Concox/Jimi, Ruptela, etc.)
  • Arabic, Urdu or Hindi language skills
  • Auto-electrician or electronics certification, and your own basic tools

What we offer

  • Competitive salary plus a travel/fuel allowance for field work
  • All tools, devices and training provided
  • A growing role as our device fleet expands across the GCC
  • A stable, full-time position with a fast-growing company
  • Variety — no two days (or vehicles) are the same
