CRM & Sales overview

Leads, accounts, opportunities, and pipeline — built for freight sales cycles.

1 min readLast updated 13 Apr 2026

The CRM module runs sales and account management for forwarders. Freight-specific: lanes, mode mix, volume estimates, and rate-card opportunities — not a generic SaaS CRM.

Record types

  • Lead — inbound enquiry or outbound prospect, not yet qualified.
  • Account — qualified customer, with contracts, credit, and shipments.
  • Contact — person at an account.
  • Opportunity — specific sales pursuit (RFQ, tender, new lane).
  • Activity / task — interactions (calls, emails, meetings), with due dates.

Relationship with operations

CRM is the commercial layer; operations live in forwarding / road / warehousing. When a lead converts to an account, any subsequent booking posts against that account. Sales sees the operational health (on-time %, disputes, ageing) on the account view — no context gap between sales and ops.

Multi-entity visibility

In multi-tenant groups, accounts can be shared across entities with configurable visibility rules. A customer shipping on both EU and US tenants shows a consolidated global view to sales, while billing stays per-entity.

Integrations

  • Email — Gmail / Outlook connect; activities auto-logged.
  • Calendar — meetings booked and logged.
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator — enrich contacts.
  • Tender platforms — RFP-IT, Freightos, etc., can feed leads.
